Smack DJs met whilst working at Lionhead Games Studios way back when. They eagerly exchanged music via Tam's company-wide music group 'Friday Jukebox', at least until the company decided this was naughty and wrong - at which point they had to find their musical kicks another way.
With veteran mixers, music-makers and a ninja artist among them the solution was obvious...
So, although their day-jobs have long since taken them in different directions [Guerilla, Headstrong, Media Molecule], they regularly regroup and lay on a night of audio/visual tomfoolery, covering anything from disco, thru french house to pounding techno and booty bass.
It's usually gets quite loud.
